FACIAL FILLERS

What it is.
Facial fillers are often used to help restore lost volume, smooth lines and soften wrinkles, creating a more youthful appearance. Many men & women choose injectable fillers because they are a cost-effective and non-invasive way to look younger and refreshed!
How it works.
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally-occurring sugar found in your body, which combines with the water in your skin to smooth lines and wrinkles, add volume and enhance or define facial features.
While dermal fillers were used for many years to treat specific lines or wrinkles, today’s treatment approach considers the full face to deliver more natural, harmonious results. These fillers blend with the tissue under the skin to keep you looking like yourself, whether you’re smiling, laughing or frowning.
During your consultation, we will look at your face while it’s still (static) and moving (dynamic) to make sure we give you the most natural-looking result, whatever emotion you’re feeling. We will work with you to develop a customized treatment plan based on your own unique aesthetic goals. Hyaluronic acid is reversible, so you can return to your pre-filler appearance if desired.
Results can last for up to 12 months, depending on the treatment chosen.
DYSPORT/BOTOX

What it is.
BOTOX Cosmetic is the world’s most commonly performed cosmetic procedure. It is used to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by disrupting muscle activity.
We also offer Dysport at the Institute – it is another neurotoxin that is used to treat lines and wrinkles. We can discuss during a consultation what option might be best for you.
The most commonly treated areas are the frown lines aka “elevens”, forehead lines and crow’s feet.
How it works.
BOTOX Cosmetic and Dysport are quick 10-minute treatments that work beneath the surface to temporarily reduce the underlying muscle activity that causes moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines in adults – to help them look better.
Some patients receiving BOTOX Cosmetic/Dyport report that the injections feel like a small pinch. You may begin to notice a visible smoothing of lines within 24 to 48 hours, with results lasting up to 3-5 months.
BOTOX Cosmetic/Dysport is not a permanent treatment. If you discontinue treatment, the moderate to severe lines will gradually return.
HYPERHIDROSIS TREATMENT

BOTOX Therapeutic is used to treat excessive sweating in areas such as the underarms, palms of the hands and soles of feet. Dr. Seal, Nurse Jordan, or Nurse Joelene will use very fine needles to inject BOTOX in the desired area. The amount of product required depends on the severity of your condition. Many insurance companies cover this treatment.
How it works.
BOTOX treatment for hyperhidrosis is a quick 10-minute procedure. The product works beneath the surface to decrease activity of the sweat glands. The product is delivered through small injections all over the desired area to ensure full coverage of the sweat glands. Some patients report the injections feel like a small pinch. You can expect the product to take effect around the 24-48h mark.
This treatment is not permanent and will typically have to be performed every 8-12 months.
PLASMA RICH FIBRIN BY ARTHREX

PRF hair treatment with Arthrex ACP is a cutting-edge way to address hair thinning and loss, using your body’s own healing power. We begin with a simple blood draw, similar to a routine blood test.
