UPPER BLEPHAROPLASTY

What it is.
While some say eyes are windows to the soul, what is certain is that eyes are the most expressive feature of the face. With cosmetic eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty), you can achieve a more youthful look and make the right impression when others see a more refreshed and rejuvenated you. You may be considering this surgery if you have:
- Baggy or droopy upper eyelids (ptosis)
- Excess skin of the upper eyelids
How it works.
This procedure involves removing excess loose skin (and sometimes excess fat) from the upper eyelids. This is one of Dr. Seal’s most common surgical procedures! The skin and fat are removed by making a small surgical, yet blade-less, incision along the crease of the upper eyelids. A single, running suture is placed under the skin and removed after 1 week. Scars hide perfectly in the natural eyelid crease.
Patients are always surprised when they see their before and after photos – especially given the minimal downtime and recovery involved!

LOWER BLEPHAROPLASTY

With a lower blepharoplasty or lower eyelid lift, the aim is to correct sagging skin and heavy bags (often caused by herniating fat) in the under eye area. This procedure creates a more refreshed and youthful appearance. Our blade-less blepharoplasty technology ensures minimal downtime.
How it works.
Much like our upper blepharoplasty, this procedure removes excess skin and/or fat from the lower eyelids through an internal and/or external incision. A single, running suture is placed under the skin and removed after 1 week.
